Garden maintenance · Bristol, Bath & surrounds – Garden stewardship

Ongoing garden maintenance from the designer who understands how your planting is meant to grow. My team and I visit on a schedule that suits your garden, so it matures the way it was designed to, without you having to manage it.

What a visit includes

Care that follows the design

  1. Planting care

Cutting back, dividing, mulching and feeding at the right moment for each plant, rather than everything at once.

  2. Guiding the garden

Editing, filling gaps and adjusting as the garden matures, so it grows into the one you saw on the plans.

  3. Seasonal check-ins

Visits planned around the year, from a light seasonal check to regular hands-on care.

  4. Advice

What's coming next, what to enjoy, and anything that needs a decision from you.

How it works

A process, not a product

We agree the right level of care for your garden and how it's used, then my team and I visit on that schedule. It's ideal if you love your garden but don't have the time, or the inclination, to look after it yourself.

It isn't a mow-and-blow maintenance round. Each visit guides the garden towards what it's meant to become, rather than cutting everything back to a standard.

Is it right for you?

A good fit

  • Gardens I've designed, as they settle in and mature
  • Established gardens that need proper long-term care
  • Busy owners who want the garden looked after properly
  • Restaurants and commercial spaces that need to look good all year

Not what I offer

  • Mow-and-blow maintenance rounds
  • One-off clearances
  • Gardens outside Bristol, Bath and the surrounding area (I'll help you find someone)

Investment

What it costs

£450 for a full day with two gardeners, including green waste removal. We'll agree how often the garden needs a visit once I've seen it.

FAQs

Garden care questions

Something else on your mind? Ask me directly.

How often do you visit?

It's flexible. Some gardens need a light seasonal check-in, others need regular hands-on care. We agree the right level for your garden and how you use it.

Do you look after gardens you didn't design?

Yes, if it's an established garden that needs proper long-term care from someone who understands how the planting is meant to evolve.

Do you cut lawns and hedges?

Yes. My team and I look after the whole garden once it's built, lawns and hedges included. Swimming pools need a specialist pool company.

Which areas do you cover?

Bristol, Bath and the surrounding area. If I've designed a garden outside that range, I'll help you find a suitable gardener. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.

How much does it cost?

£450 for a full day with two gardeners, including green waste removal. How often you need a visit depends on the garden, and I'll recommend a schedule once I've seen it.
