Garden design in Gloucestershire

From the city edge to the hills

Gloucestershire runs from the edge of Bristol to the high Cotswolds, and the gardens are just as varied: new family homes in South Gloucestershire, village gardens with stone walls, and country plots with long views.

My show planting at RHS Badminton explored restorative places for people and plants: a moody palette of perennials, grasses and edibles. That's the feeling I design for in every garden, alongside the practical things: where you'll eat, host, play and escape.

I'm based in Bristol, so South Gloucestershire is right on my doorstep, and garden care is available for gardens close to the city.
