Designed as a totem to botanical science. This events space set within the grounds of a grade 2 listed Georgian building had to find a sense of place. We designed a practical, exquisite and inclusive space for people to come together, share stories and revel in the beauty of the natural world.

Paving is constructed from mycelium bound aggregate which is both permeable and sustainable. It is inlaid with brass that follows the ethereal movement of slime moulds. Planting here is drought tolerant and suitable to thrive in a warmer climate with wetter winters.
